Like what they did with the XB360 controller Microsoft are releasing an XB1 controller to use on PC. It will be compatible with Windows 7 & 8.

It will available sometime later this year for $59.95 (£36.77)

Not exactly sure why they've called it 'wired' if the wire can detach from it :-? plus kind of a bit of waste especially as you can play simply using the play & charge cable.

I'm already using mine on PC so whilst it's nice that they have boxed it all together its exactly the same as buying a xb1 controller and a official recharge pack.

Great replacement for my trusty wired 360 pad

I'm not seeing the point, the 360 controller is a better build.

I thought the same my first couple of weeks with the new one but I find it really hard to go back now. Everything is just a bit better on the xb1 pad. Sticks are a lot better. Only downside was the bumpers took some getting used to. Controllers are a really personal thing, after years of having a PS3 I still hate the symmetrical sticks and I think that's part of the reason I still haven't jumped on with PS4

It feels cheaper, the build feels flimsy. The layout and all, I'm sure probably is better.

I could throw a 360 controller at my wall and my wall would lose, I wouldn't back the Boner controller in that fight.

build on the controller that came with my console was awful, it creaked and felt like I could snap it in half. Ended up sending it back, replacement was fine and the Titanfall spare I bought even better.

I wouldn't be surprised if your xbox even without the kinect isn't just repackaged form original production run, loads and loads of people had their controller replaced.

Remember the one on the original Xbox. The original one. The massive one. No wall is safe.
