I started off by putting a water pump DOWNstream of a sewage pipe... my town drank their own Piss for a day and then abandoned me...

then it was announced on the twitter thingy, "most beautiful town" .. strange sense of pride at that point

An you were left with 1 tree house and Bear Grylls in a bath of tap water.

LOL

Only thing have a problem with atm.. the district painting thingy...
it says you can make industry more focused on oil or Ore production... has anyone got these t work.. I just can figure them out.

Would people be up for a night on this and Skype, swapping tips, asking questions and all? (Like the elite nights)

I would be up for this - can't make the next three nights, but sometime at the beginning of next week would work for me. I'll get it bought from cdkeys. IS it worth buying the deluxe edition or is that a couple of quid extra for nothing really worth having?

Worked the resource district thing out..

paint a district as normal, then select oil, ore or forestry industry.. then click on the district..

then suffer mild panic as all the buildings get torn down, then joy as appropriate buildings are built instead

I'm tempted to get this but I usually get bored with sim type games and forget about them after a month or so. I havent played the new Sim city due to some reviews and what was generally said about it.
Is it worth it? does it still have the appeal a month later? I dont need another game sat in the pile of shame!!

It's hard to say Ferris, it's the best city sim in an age, but if you get bored easily (I do).....

It's also fucking cheap via the man site though.
