I have little choice if I want a fast connection it seems.

BT Infinity is coming here early July, so I will hold off until then.

What I can do for now though is make some waves, this has been a joke on and off for about 5 months now.
I have made official complaints, they have never made it 'official' in their replies, so I want to write a nice letter of complaint detailing how long this has been going on etc.

The thing is, how do I find out who to e-mail it to? Whenever I do complain I meet the same managers (who also operate twitter feed). They're good with platitudes and promises, but now I want to take it higher.

If anyone can think of something

I have a couple of hours tomorrow afternoon to write a meaty letter, but where to send?

Whenever I make a complaint it always ends up in the hand of (I only have the first name) Billy, he also seems to run the twitter feed.
It's clear that he carries clout and can pull strings as he has.

I just want someone high up I suppose, may a few names that I can cc a a long e-mail to (including this Billy, so he see's that I'm spreading the love and word about)

Why don't you try to email Neil.berkett@virginmedia.co.uk
The name is the CEO of the company, though it's more than likely it's not his actual address and will filter through to a complaints department. It's been generally advised on the forums that emails sent to this address get dealt with better however.

Glad to put my email finding skills to more use ;)
I've spent the last few mins trying to find your mate billys surname. All I can find so far is that he's a Mc... Can't find more than that the illusive bastard

I'd recommend O2 also. They run the Be service too, which has already been recommend :)

3 people that I know of with the new hub thing are having loads of trouble. One of my friends was round yesterday & I was asking him if he had any trouble as I know that he has 50Mb. He said his is fine, but that he doesn't have the new hub thing, he's still using his original modem with his own router attached?

yep.
the engineer told me on Friday that the old ones are still working and people are begging for then.

But if it gets disconnected and needs re-activating the new firmware disables them. Fuck knows why, my instinct says some dodgy deal with the hardware manufacturer.
