I always used to get the new releases day 1 but lately it's starting to slip. It seems at the minute that those who are on priority 1 get priority over those on the more expensive packages because we're seen as having other discs at home to play with whilst the priority 1 people have nothing. I might have 2 other discs at home but that doesn't mean I'm playing them. I started 1 and can't be arsed playing anymore of it and the other is what the kids are playing. Well, it's only gone and encouraged me to down grade which loses them roughly £10 a month off me.
Plus to rub salt in the wound I got an email late last night to say that my monthly payment was successful!

It does seem to be a weird system, that's for sure. But I guess most of it is automated and can't differentiate between the priority packages. Realistically, the extra money only says it entitles the account to more games at once and such, so they aren't obligated to make sure those accounts get the new games before others, despite the increase in payment. It is such a 50/50 scenario it is hard to recommend the service, but hard to fault it at the same time. Hopefully the package downgrade will help with it. I'd say test it with something that is out soon that isn't likely to be as popular and see what happens.

I seem to get screwed when it comes to the popular games like destiny and this game, but the shit games nobody has interest in I get no bother

The talk of the quick time events has put me right off this game!

It's s definite "rent to have a look and not buy". Very bad review from Kotaku. Gorgeous but disappoint game play. Like it had learned nothing from recent developments in gameplay, pacing etc.

Best looking game of the generation I think they said, just a shit game though.

I got it for £36 and enjoyed it....its the first part of a new series I would think so it sets the groundwork for a sequel to be bigger and better.

Think back to how basic the first Assassins Creed, Gears of war or even Uncharted were compared to the second ones in the series.

I actually enjoyed all 3 more than the next iterations, might have to rent this soon then

Played a fair few hours now and I must say, the reviews that were slating the gameplay aren't overly deserved.

No, it isn't the best game in the world, but it is far from the bottom of the pile. The development has really gone into the environments and the story, and that really shines through. I'm so involved with the characters and am enjoying the game world so much that the "lack" of gameplay elements hasn't even been noticed. And the story is so moreish, and just leaves me wanting to play on and on.

My main question is what more would you want from the gameplay? It's all well and good saying it is lacking, but there must be something you have in mind before saying it, surely?
