This makes no fucking sense. If I have a clean license my premium will be higher as I'm likely to get done at some point. What a power of robbing bastards

I once got told by an insurance company that as I had no endorsements that it would push my premiums up as I was more likely to get done but for a bigger offence

I never went near that company as they claimed I was in a small minority hence the comment. I ended up going through my bank and it still works out £50 cheaper than any other quote I have yet to get

Fucking Admiral...........quoted me £728 to renew and finding the same on confused comes in at a shade under £500. Wankers....just trying to cash in people's laziness and absolutely no sense of shame when you tell them.

Just makes me mad that I've got to spend half an hour on the phone sorting it out because they're too lazy to offer their best price straight away

Just about to rant about exactly the same issue. Why do I have to waste my time looking on comparison sites then phone up for them to go oh aye we can do that lower price!!! Ffs do it in the first place you cunts!!
Admiral dropped mine 150 after phoning up and now I have to go through exactly the same bolox with home insurance and more than.

I just saved £200 changing insurers as M&S couldnt beat quotes on compare website, so just had the hassle of changing over, its funny when some can match and some cant, would of preferred to stay with them, but saving of £200 cant complain plus get free breakdown cover too, so bonus really.

Yep more than couldn't get close but they have a weird thing where if you want cover outside the home it's the full amount you have insured for inside the home. I was like wtf. Oh yeah I'm gona be taking my fridge freezer and sofa out with me when I go for a walk :/ . So had to fuck them off and go to tesco where you can specify the amount of cover for outside and price ended up half of more than!
