I ordered a Wii U and a 3DSXL from Shopto an Thursday at about 6pm. I actually paid about £100 more as I needed to as I really wanted them asap and I knew Shopto always delivers super fast. My order stated next day delivery and I was expecting it today (Saturday), but then I get an email yesterday saying that the delivery will be here Monday.

So I tried to change the delivery address as I won't be at home next week and would need it delivered to my office. Seems I can't do this as the courier company doesn't allow it, but I thought no biggy as I can pick it up from the depo. Hell no!!!!! The local depo is 50 miles away. The only option I have is to have it left with a neighbor, which I don't fancy risking.

So my only option is to have it delivered on Thursday as it's my day off...a whole week after I ordered it!!!!!!!

First time I have been let down with an order from Shopto, but even more annoying as it was such a big purchase :-(

The best one I had was when I ordered Guitar Hero 5 or World Tour, I cannot remember now, from Amazon and they shipped it from the UK - however their courier decided to ship it via Berlin and back and at no point were Amazon able to track it. Took about 3 weeks to get here by which time Amazon had already shipped another one out to me so I ended up with 2 of them.

You wouldn't think the simple task of delivering to an address would be so complicated.

It's your own stupid fault :-P
Hardware deliveries are always done by couriers and they don't generally do Saturday deliveries (if they do, they charge a fortune).

You probably would have got it on Friday if you'd have ordered it earlier, 6pm is pushing it. Would have been easier going to a store on Friday if you wanted to make sure you got them.

Anything I order gets sent via yodel I ask them to leave it at their local depot....alot quicker for me to collect it, as they can never find my place, even tho it's on a main road!!!

When I ordered my projector it was on a Friday. I was informed the courier would deliver it on Monday as they don't work Saturday, great for me as I am not at home at the weekends and guess what they delivered it at 9:20 on the saturday

I won a set of Kopparberg glasses and then after 2-3 weeks I let them know that it had not been delivered and then 3 days after I find a leaflet hidden under some of my neighbours mail (whether they put it there by mistake or on purpose is unknown to me to this day) and it said they put it in a safe place as instructed by the sender if I wasn't in.

What pissed me off is where he put it: IN THE RECYCLE BIN!!
so god knows how long it had been left there but its obvious where its gone.

Didn't even get another set sent or even a gift to compensate.

The best ones are when they say we called and you were not in

Two days ago the same thing happened, I was talking to my wife and the slip came in through the door and we rushed out to get the package, the cunt never even knocked on the door, I would have knocked his teeth in if he did not know where I live, thank you royal mail

For 6 months in 2009 all my mail was stolen so had to stop love film and order everything to work from Amazone, it is not a sustainable business if your staff is the issue and you don't do anything to stop it.

Yodel and Royal Mail are bad but the worst has to be Hermes who are incapable of delivering anything without fucking it up.

At Christmas I ordered the complete One Tree Hill boxset from HMV. Few days later I get a card through the door saying it's been left in the porch, only problem is I don't have a porch. I searched high and low for the fucking thing, call HMV and Hermes who both start investigations. Two weeks later after nothing from either company my neighbour comes round parcel in hand.

How is left with neighbour anything like left in porch?
