Let us know your thoughts on the Xbox One

First off, the controller looks stunning!

Controller looks good, Forza looks good. I don't give a shit about having Skype in my living room, I don't give a shit about live TV and movies on my Xbox as I don't have the bandwidth available to stream it in decent quality, plus I pay Sky a shitload of money each month to watch TV already.

That is all fluff and filler, I'm not interested in Kinect either. I want to sit on my arse and play games, I don't want to flail manically around in front of my TV.

I want to play games, sitting on my arse with a controller....that's it

First of all I like to say fuck xbox

What a shit name

Not one thing has impressed me, even the controller is nothing new, all I could say was welcome to 2006 Sony did that then

I am so happy Microsoft made it easy for me to choose

Huge, ugly black box. It looks like the tape deck on my 20 year old hi-fi.

All the minority report bollocks looks smart but is pointless. Lots of functionality that no one will ever use.

Got bored when the EA man started spouting his balls so I turned it off.

Dreadful......

I realise I'm out of sync with many on this and that sort of marketing isn't aimed at me, but......
I thought they would see what Sony did, see the good reception they received and react accordingly.
But they did the opposite

Xbox One = SHIT name.

Console itself... HUGE AND UGLY

I recognises me... FUCK OFF.

Kinect 2, I won't be paying for motion controls I have no interest in.

All This multimedia guff isn't for me, yes in fairness it has a market.

There wasn't a single game played, the CoD looked impressive, but that's no surprise. Yep, they will keep the CoD fans that want early DLC and the EA sports brigade.

It was a piss poor presentation and did nothing to help MS change my mind aboout where my monies going on my next generation console.

Well seems the markets agree with me.

Sony shares went up a massive 9% after the MS announcement, MS shares fell 0.5% :ugeek:

Right fill me in, what did I miss.

I guess they avoided release date and price. Do we still need to pay for Xbox Gold?

I actually quite like the name and don't mind the look of it either.

You didn't miss much mate...

There was a lot of waffle, a LOT.

Showed an ugly child and some shit looking game, then more guff... Then the next CoD looked pretty, then it was over.

Thoroughly underwhelming. Considerably more time on irrelevant TV features than any games. Not good enough, machine is powerful enough, where's the bloody software?

This whole living room paradigm shift shit is a complete failure. WiiU is a high concept machine with unique features but no one's buying it, and I would not pay £350 to have fantasy football in a bloody sidebar. Did Microsoft learn no lessons from Windows Vista? They're going to have to smash E3 and blow everyone away with their games (so do Sony for that matter) or this generation is going to tank, and we don't want that.

Underwhelming from the get go. Can't imagine anyone but affluent fanboys picking up one of these things.

Still off the opinion someone is going to come along and trump Sony and MS. Sony have the advantage but both look vulnerable.
