I know it only just came out not too long ago but what does everyone think of this?

The one obvious critique everyone will bring up is that its the same as Far Cry 3 but in so many ways that's just the wrong idea to think of this game.

In a way I would like to think its evolved especially with some of the new stuff as well as ways of getting around like the grapple, gyrocopter (only other vehicle I think was best was the tuk tuk) and also the array of wildlife you encounter. Not forgetting the views also

I genuinely have nothing to contribute to this thread - neither positive or negative. Although, I do believe Pagin Min to be the one role Troy Baker shouldn't have taken. Doesn't suit him at all.

It almost doesn't feel like him either, like I know its Troy Baker I'm hearing and somewhat seeing but I have to keep reminding myself

I couldn't care that it's Try Baker doing that. I've never cared who voices my characters I play as they're characters and not real people so that doesn't bother me. As long as it's someone who sounds like the character should, so Joe Pasquale would probably be stupid doing Joel or Nathan Drake.

As for the game, I'm playing it on the Xbox One and loving it so far. I've only done the prologue and a bit of wandering around, but I'll be putting some more time into it this morning. It looks stunning and it takes the good bits from Far Cry 3 and adds some more bits from what I can see.

This and Halo should keep me going until Christmas

It does look like a fun, beautiful game but I think I'm probably gonna wait until it's a bit cheaper. I'm backlogged already and that's minus both this and GTAV. Although I could ask for it for Christmas I suppose.

That's not what I was meaning. I was supposed to say that I felt as though the role was wrongly cast because the voice doesn't go with the guy's face - but I'm only going off the trailers.

I am looking forward to playing this for a bit tonight or maybe tomorrow. All I'm concerned about is it getting tedious like Far Cry 3 started feeling after a while. Taking the control points and the comms towers all day, not my idea of fun

From what I did play this morning, it does seem to be the same. I will hopefully be able to sink some more time into it tonight, but depends on what time I get in. Other than that, I bought a good gun and have shot many people. Even killed some wolves with arrows like a pro

I'm realy looking forward to playing it whenever that may be.

Halo is making me very happy, Dragon Age in the post.... by time I'm bored with them, there should be some decent deals on this.

Yeah there will be plenty of time for Dragon Age, Far Cry 4, maybe even GTA5 in the new year. I reckon £30 a pop is about right. I've still got Shadow Of Mordor and Sunset Overdrive sat on my shelf!
